Mrs. M.L.P. Ridderbeks Appointed Chief Public Prosecutor in Sint Maarten
The Kingdom Council of Ministers has officially appointed Mrs. M.L.P. Ridderbeks
as the new Chief Public Prosecutor in Sint Maarten.
She will assume the position on 1 August 2025, succeeding Mr. H. Buist.
Mr. Buist will transition to his new role as Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor
at the National Public Prosecution Service on 1 July.


His upcoming appointment opens the way for an experienced leader to continue the office’s

Mrs. Ridderbeks currently serves as a senior public prosecutor and deputy detective officer
at the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Limburg.
