Today marked a dynamic continuation of the Caribbean Climate & Energy Conference 2025 in Curaçao.

I actively engaged with regional leaders, experts,

and changemakers as we expanded on critical conversations centered around sustainability,

innovation, and regional collaboration.

We began the day with compelling sessions on renewable energy and social inclusion.

I joined technical experts and policymakers to tackle the urgent demand for inclusive energy solutions.

Together, we emphasized the importance of developing infrastructure and policies that leave no island behind.

Our discussions highlighted real opportunities to create equitable energy systems that empower all communities across the

region.

Transitioning from energy to economics,

we shifted our focus to the concept of circular economies in the Caribbean.

I contributed to exchanges on how we can transform our approach to consumption and production.

We examined strategies to reduce waste, boost sustainable manufacturing, and strengthen local economies.

These efforts, we agreed, are not just beneficial—they are vital for the resilience of our small island developing states.

A guided field visit took us through nature-based solutions in action.

Later in the afternoon, we turned our attention from theory to practice.

We witnessed firsthand how Curaçao is leveraging natural ecosystems to combat

climate change and enhance environmental resilience.

To close the day, we immersed ourselves in the Kaya Kaya Cultural Experience.

The celebration reflected the spirit of unity and creativity that fuels our region.

Music, art, and storytelling brought communities together and reminded us of the cultural richness that must

also be preserved in our path toward sustainability.
