It was an honor to speak at the Green Overseas Climate Resilience Workshop on Strengthening Resilience to Coastal Erosion and Flood Risks. As Minister of VROMI, I’m deeply committed to protecting our coastlines, from the growing impacts of climate change.
This workshop brought together representatives from across the Overseas Countries and Territories, united in our mission to build resilience. I spoke about the real challenges we face, complex regulations, and the urgent need for expertise but also about the power of collaboration and shared knowledge.
I want to thank my dedicated team for their proactive efforts in driving policies and projects that safeguard our environment. I’m proud of the work we’re doing, and I look forward to learning even more from our partners in the region.🌊
